New Konosuke FM Fujiyama 210mm gyuto with iron clad shirogami 2 blade with thin convex hamaguri grind and octagonal ho handle and ho saya.
This series is forged by the same Sakai dentoukougeishi smith who forged the old Fujiyama series knives by Konosuke and ground by Myojin Naohito. The new grinder has been working with Konosuke for a few years now and his work is outstanding. Both of their work together is top notch, we are super happy to introduce these.
Konosuke, a Sakai-based company, works with top skilled blacksmiths from all over Japan. Konosuke’s knives spare no attention to detail, from the heat treatment and grind to the packaging. Their focus is on their hometown of Sakai City, where the Kawamura family has operated for many generations.
