How do I use my Bernal Cutlery gift card online?

Our new eCom platform and old gift card system to do not communicate well so we need to build these orders manually. To use a gift card please do the following:

  • Create an customer account if you don't already have one and login.
  • Add items to your cart and send an email to [email protected]
  • Include whether you want to have the item shipped or picked up at our SF location.
  • We will send you a Square invoice. Click the link. At the top of the payment page select from the drop down "Pay with Card" and choose "Pay with Gift Card"
  • Finish the invoice by paying with credit card as needed and let us know you have completed the transaction.
  • We will then process your order.

 

Are we open for in-store shopping?

We are not open for in-store shopping at this time. We will reopen for in-store shopping when we feel that the risk to the health and safety of our customers and staff has dramatically improved. If you need help picking something out, please sign-up for a Virtual Shopping appointment.

 

Can I get an industry discount online?

Depends. Will you be using your purchase for work? If so, please do the following PRIOR to ordering:

  • Create an customer account if you don't already have one.
  • Send an email to [email protected] with the items you wish to purchase and in what quantities. Also include whether you want to have the item shipped or picked up at our SF location.
  • Be prepared to show proof of employment in the industry.

 

Can I pickup orders or drop off knives for sharpening at the Oakland Location?

Nope. We are only accepting in-store pick-ups and sharpening drop-offs at our San Fransisco (Mission District) location.

 

Do you sharpen serrated knives?

Yup. See Sharpening Services for more info.

 

Do you ship internationally?

Yup. We can ship to most countries for $25. Heavy packages will be subject to additional shipping fees (eg, Chef's Presses, Stones, Books, etc.). We are subject to some shipping restrictions, however. This have mostly been for South American and Middle Eastern destinations.

If you do not see your country listed in the drop down menu of countries at checkout, email [email protected] to see if it is one that can be added.

How much additional shipping do Heavy items require?
It depends on the total weight of the shipment and it's destination. Prior to purchasing, email [email protected] with your order, country and local postal code and we will get back to you with a additional shipping quote.
