10" Stainless blade with rosewood handle.
Victorinox's boning and kitchen knives have a cult like following with butchers and cooks, and their stainless is some of the easiest to sharpen that we've come across. For years they were sold under the now discontinued brand Forschner in the U.S., and we are happy they still make these rosewood handled ones.
Famous for the iconic Swiss Army Knife, Victorinox started in 1884, and has since become a major worlwide brand also dealing in watches, luggage, etc... They were one of the first companies to fully embrace stainless steel as a cutlery material, the name coming from a combination of the founder's mothers name Victoria with the international name for stainless steel, Inox.
Due to new international CITES restrictions, effective Jan 2, 2017, we are unable to offer international shipping for knives handled with all Dalbergia species (rosewood) and some other newly listed restricted woods including Bubinga. Domestic USA shipments are allowed.
