Opinel #9 stainless steel folding oyster knife. 7 1/8" open. 4 1/2" closed. Stainless blade. Bubinga wood handle.
The Opinel oyster knife is a handy little picnic tool. Just make sure the lock is set well!
Created in 1890 in Savoie, France, Opinel folding knives are the favorite of every French household and one of the most recognizable pocket knives in the world. The blades are stamped, heat treated, ground and polished to their unique profile and smooth cutting feel. Additional chromium is used in the 12c27 stainless steel blades to ensure rust-resistence. The ring lock provides safety in keeping the blade secure during storage or while in use.
Due to new international CITES restrictions, effective Jan 2, 2017, we are unable to offer international shipping for knives handled with all Dalbergia species (rosewood) and some other newly listed restricted woods including Bubinga. Domestic USA shipments are allowed.
